Quaid-e-Azam's real name was Muhammad Ali Jinnah. You were born on 25 December 1876 in Karachi. After receiving his primary education in Karachi, he went to England for higher education in law. On returning home you started advocacy.


Quaid-e-Azam started his political life with the Congress. At that time India was under British rule. You wanted Hindus and Muslims together to liberate the country from the British. So you demanded a separate country for Muslims in Lahore Resolution in 1940. For this purpose he united the Muslims of India. The Muslims under his leadership struggled a lot for the establishment of a separate homeland and Pakistan came into existence on 14 August 1947.

Because of this feat of yours, you are called the founder of Pakistan and father of the nation. You are the first Governor General of Pakistan. You wanted to make Pakistan a strong, peaceful, prosperous and Islamic welfare state. Qa Nawam died on September 11, 1948. His grave is in Karachi.
